Terms Of Service
- F-com provides a free inspection and fault diagnosis for laptops in the following cases:
When the repair is performed in our service center. In this case, only the agreed repair cost will be charged, regardless of whether it involves a completed service, multiple services, replacement of a complete functional part (such as a motherboard, SSD, HDD, screen, keyboard, etc.), or replacement of electronic components on a part.
1a. When repair is not possible or feasible for any reason (e.g., inability to determine the problem, lack of spare parts, severity of the fault, total damage), only the diagnostic fee will be charged according to the current price list.
1b. When the fault is visible, measurable, or identifiable during the initial inspection and consultations at the time of device drop-off, and the customer chooses not to leave the device for repair for any reason.
2. If the customer decides to leave the device for a detailed inspection and repair attempt after consultations with F-com staff, it will be considered as agreement to the general repair conditions, which include material and labor costs for diagnostics as per the current price list, available and prominently displayed in F-com’s Belgrade office.
3. F-com is obliged to provide free service only for equipment within the warranty period purchased or serviced at F-com and under warranty. Any service or work on equipment not covered under the conditions of this clause will be charged according to the rates established by F-com.
4. The warranty does not apply to software (installed on the computer or provided on any data storage medium such as CD, DVD, USB flash drive, SD, etc.). Complaints related to software issues, software malfunctions, or its operation will be considered unfounded and will be charged according to F-com’s applicable rates.
5. F-com staff is not obligated to verify whether the computer received for service conforms to the manufacturer’s specifications or whether certain components were replaced, missing, modified, or damaged during previous interventions (with or without the owner’s knowledge). Responsibility for any discrepancy from the manufacturer’s specifications lies with the owner.
6. If, during or after the service intervention on the equipment, as a result of the repair or diagnostic process, irreversible or partial damage occurs, or functionality or operation of one or more components or the operating system changes, F-com and/or its staff bear no responsibility and are not required to remedy such changes or damages at their expense.
7. The customer acknowledges that changes in the operation of the equipment and/or software may occur during or after the intervention, which may not be reversible, and F-com is not responsible for restoring the equipment or software to its previous state.
8. The customer acknowledges that irreversible physical or cosmetic changes or damages may occur to the device during the opening of the computer, monitor, or other equipment, and F-com bears no responsibility for these changes and is not obligated to restore the equipment to its previous state.
9. By signing, the customer confirms that they are the legal owner of the computer and software installed on the hard disk, optical medium, or other data storage media and accepts full legal responsibility arising from ownership and use of the hardware and software. F-com is not responsible for verifying ownership of the hardware and software.
10. The deadline for notifying the owner of the equipment’s condition and repair feasibility, costs, and other relevant facts is 7-15 business days from the date of drop-off.
11. The customer must collect their equipment from F-com service within 15 calendar days from the notification date. Storage fees of 500 RSD will be charged for each additional 7-day period. If not collected within 90 days, F-com may sell the equipment to cover incurred costs.
12. The customer is responsible for contacting F-com within 7-15 days from the drop-off date for updates on the service status. Contact information is as follows: (Bul. Zorana Đinđića 12d, unit 36, 11070 Novi Beograd, 011/313-28-27, 9:00-17:00 on weekdays, 10:00-14:00 on Saturdays).
13. This document is a legally binding agreement between F-com d.o.o. of Belgrade and the undersigned customer. It is made in two identical copies, one for each contracting party, and is legally valid without notarization.
14. In case of a dispute, the competent court in Belgrade has jurisdiction.
15. By signing, I confirm that F-com staff has advised me to read the service terms, which I have read, understood, and fully agree with.
